Several years ago we were looking for a dog to guard our home and also defend us. We had many different dog breeds before: german sheepherd, dobermann pinscher, rottweiler... Then somebody told us abour CAO's. We read a lot about them and finally decided to have one. We have visited „z Karagandy” kennel and brought back to our home sweet little central asia ovcharka - Geyra.

We have fallen in love with this breed immediately. CAO's independence, close relations with his family, well-balance and predictive behaviour, was that has touched us the most. CAO's are extremally territorial dogs, made for guard and protect his flock. They are calm, really great for children. They are not really lazy - just saving their energy. No barking without any serious reason. They need to be leaded decidedly and consistently.

We have three CAO's now, just becouse our Alfa-male (our father) doesn't let us to grow :) We can recommend Central Asia Ovcharka for everyone, who wants to have a great friend, who's looking for everything around...
